Our home search started in September of 2021, and after a year of putting in offers on homes all over Orange County, we were still searching. In December of 2022, our good friends successfully purchased a home in a very competitive market (San Clemente) with a realtor, Colin Farris. I would work with Colin Farris and his team for any real estate project and unreservedly recommend that others do as well.  As a resident of San Clemente, it is almost inevitable that we know a number of real estate agents, several of whom I consider to be great individuals and talented at what they do.  So how do you choose?

In our case, Colin introduced himself to my wife and I more than 7 years ago when he had sold a home in our neighborhood, and I immediately had the impression that he was a serious and knowledgeable person - and a good guy as well.  At the time, we had no thoughts of moving and no needs for an agent so our conversation was all theoretical, but I told him to keep in touch since I figured the day would come.  Over the ensuing 7 years, we spoke every 6 months or so as he checked in and as we considered a number of options with buying, selling, renting, etc.
